KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- No. 4-seeded Purdue got its first glimpse of the Sprint Center as the Boilermakers held an hour practice and media festivities in advance of tomorrow's contest with top-seeded Kansas.
The Boilermakers started their day with a 30-minute walkthrough at Rockhurst University, before traveling about 10 minutes to the 19,000-seat Sprint Center. Purdue practiced for 50 minutes, mostly going through just shooting drills to get acclimated to the settings, before facing the media during press conferences and an open locker-room environment.
Purdue and the Jayhawks will battle Thursday at 9:40 p.m. ET / 8:40 p.m. CT, on CBS with Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller, Dan Bonner and Dana Jacobson on the call. Several of the Boilermakers took time after practice to pose for pictures with Miller, an Indiana Pacers legend.
