RIVIERA MAYA, Mexico -- The No. 15-ranked Purdue men's basketball team looks for its second consecutive in-season tournament title as it opens play Tuesday against Utah State in the Cancun Challenge.

The Boilermakers and Aggies will face off at 8:30 p.m. ET on the CBS Sports Network. The other matchup pits Auburn and Texas Tech at 6 p.m. ET. The two winners will play for the title Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Purdue has technically won seven straight in-season tournament games dating to the 2014 EASports Maui Invitational. The Boilermakers won their final two games in that event (Missouri, BYU), four games in last year's Hall of Fame Tipoff Classic (North Carolina A&T, Vermont, Old Dominion, Florida) and one in this year's Cancun Challenge (Georgia State).

Purdue is coming off a 64-56 win over Georgia State on Friday night after erasing a 13-point deficit with 8:13 remaining against the Panthers, the ninth-largest second-half, and second largest to start in the last 10 minutes of a game, comeback in school history. The Boilermakers ended the game on a 20-0 run, their third run of 16-0 or better already this year.

Caleb Swanigan enters the game as the only player in America to average 20.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game and is coming off his 10th career double-double (in 37 games) with a 19-point, 11-rebound, three-assist performance against the Panthers. Isaac Haas chips in at 18.3 points per game, while Vincent Edwards averages 12.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists.
