WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermakers continue their trek across the south as the team heads to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for the LSU Tiger Invitational. Purdue will send 47 student-athletes to the one-day meet.
THE COMPETITION
The Boilermakers will compete against several teams from the power conferences, including conference foe Ohio State. Other teams competing include:

-Mississippi State
-LSU
-Oklahoma
-Kansas State
PURDUE HEADLINERS
Head coach Lonnie Greene's Boilermakers will send most of the usual suspects to the competitive meet.
The women's school-record 4x100-meter relay team, which ranks ninth in the country, will make the trip. The team finished third at the Texas Relays last week with Autumn Heath, Carmiesha Cox, Savannah Roberson and Savannah Carson. That group will all also compete in the 100m and 200m dashes.
Shantyra Delaney will be back in the blocks in the 100m hurdles, after running the best race of her career last week at the Texas State Invtiational. Delaney ran a time of 13.44 seconds, which is currently 32nd in the country.
Aarin Jones, Brionna Thomas and Taylor Dunlap will run in the women's 400m dash. Thomas has the No. 2 time in program history, while Jones' best ranks sixth. Symone Black will run in the 400m hurdles, the event in which she holds the school record. Her time this season currently ranks sixth in the country.
Malcolm Dotson, Gerald McGee and Keanu Pennerman are set to run in the men's 100m dash. The trio of first year Boilermakers is currently just outside the top 10 in program history.
Chukwuebuka Enekwechi highlights a talented group of throwers making the trip. Enekwechi will compete in the shot put and hammer throw, both of which he currently ranks in the top 15 nationally.
