MYRTLE BEACH, S. C. --
Jessica Harter jumped an outdoor personal best in the pole vault to break the meet and facility records Friday afternoon at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational. Harter was one of four Boilermakers to win an event on the day.

Harter opened at 3.95 meters (12-11.50) and cleared on her first attempt. The bar was then raised to 4.10m (13-5.25), which the senior cleared on her second attempt.
