SOUTH BEND, Ind. -
The women's distance medley and men's 4x400-meter relay teams both broke school records Saturday at the Alex Wilson Invitational. Anaquan Peterson also had a big day, jumping a personal best and the school's No. 2 all-time mark in the triple jump.

Kiara McIntosh, Symone Black, Vanessa McLeod and Katie Hoevet formed the women's DMR team for the first time. The team went out and ran a time of 11:06.40 to break the school record time of 11:07.20, which was set last season by McIntosh, Taylor Dunlap, McLeod and Hoevet at the 2015 version of the same meet. The women's team's time ranks 13th in the country this season

The men's 4x400m relay team of Nicholas Parks, Kyle Webb, Kinard Rolle and Shawndail McLaren sprinted to Purdue's fastest time in history and the nation's No. 10 time. They posted a time of 3:07.04 to break the school record time of 3:08.07, set last year by Chris Arvia, Obokhare Ikpefan, Kendal Frederick and Parks also at Notre Dame's Alex Wilson Invite. The men's time is the second best in the Big Ten this season.

Peterson was back jumping in the triple jump for the first time since leaping over 16 meters (52-6.00) for the first time in his career two weeks ago at the same venue. He came out and leapt a new PR on his first attempt, jumping 16.07m (52-8.75). His next attempt was even better, as he leapt a new PR distance of 16.16m (53-00.25). That mark was his best, as he only used three attempts, and ranks eighth in the country and is the best in the Big Ten by more than two feet.

Sarah Loesch and Chukwuebuka Enekwechi were both winners in the women's and men's throws, respectively. Loesch won the women's weight throw with a mark of 18.49m (60-8.00), while Enekwechi won the men's shot put with a best throw of 19.33m (63-5.00).
