The draws for the NCAA Preliminary Rounds were announced on Thursday and the Boilermakers have 21 entries. Purdue will send 11 men and 15 women to Jacksonville, Florida, for the East Preliminary Round, hosted by the University of North Florida.

To qualify for the preliminary rounds, individuals must be among the top 48 declared student-athletes in their event, while relay teams must be top 24. The Boilermakers qualified declared entries for 18 individual events and three relays, including two which rank in the top 10 of the region.

Chukwuebuka Enekwechi leads the Boilermakers with a pair of individual entries, including the No. 1 overall hammer throw seed in the region. Enekwechi also has the No. 10 shot put mark among qualifiers in the east. Matthew McClintock also has a top-five regional mark on the men's side. He has the No. 5 10,000-meter run time in the region, an event he finished runner-up in at the Big Ten Championships.

On the women's side, Symone Black qualified for the 400m hurdles with the No. 4 overall time in the region. She also is part of the 4x400m relay team, which has the 10th-best time in the region. Devynne Charlton and Savannah Carson also both qualified for an individual event and will run in a relay. Charlton has the No. 7 100m hurdles time, while Carson's long jump mark is 38th. The women's 4x100- and 4x400-meter relays both rank 10th in the region.

Purdue's full list of accepted regional declarations is below, while the men's and women's complete lists are at the top of the page. The NCAA East Preliminary Round begins on Thursday, May 28.

To advance to the NCAA Championships, individuals and relays must finish in the top 12 in their respective event.
