TUCSON, Ariz. -  Three school records fell and numerous other top five marks were set at the Jim Click Shootout. The Boilermakers had their best meet of the season with their performances on Saturday.

Carmiesha Cox shattered a 32-year old school in the 200-meter dash. Cox ran a time of 23.33 seconds, with a 0.0 wind, to finish second in the race. The sophomore took down the previous school record of 23.74 seconds, set by Sybil Perry in 1983 and tied by Jamie McNeair in 1989. Cox now owns the indoor and outdoor school records in the event. Her time from Saturday ranks ninth in the country and second in the Big Ten this season.

Devynne Charlton also PRed in the 200m dash and worked her way into the top five in school history. Charlton finished eighth with a time of 24.00 seconds, with no wind. Charlton also had strong performances in the 100m dash and 100m hurdles. In the dash, Charlton ran a time of 11.66 seconds, into a wind of 0.1 meters per second, which ties Savannah Carson for the second-fastest time in program history. The women's 4x100m relay team also took down a school record. The team of Autumn Heath, Cox, Charlton and Twyla Winfrey ran a time of 44.62 seconds to break their own record of 44.97 seconds from earlier this season. The team finished third at the meet and their time ranks 11th in the country.

The third school record that fell was the men's hammer throw mark. Chukwuebuka Enekwechi took down his own mark with a throw of 68.97m (226-03) to win the event. Enekwechi also had a career day in the shot put. He had a PR with a throw of 19.46m (63-10.25) to win the event. The mark is eight centimeters, 3.25 inches, better than his previous PR. Enekwechi's mark ranks second in school history and is the best mark at Purdue since 2004. His mark ranks seventh in the country and second in the Big Ten.
