WILMINGTON, N.C. - The Purdue women's golf team concluded its fall slate on Sunday at the Landfall Tradition, played at the Country Club of Landfall Pete Dye Course, finishing tied for seventh in the 18-team field at +12 (283-295-298=876). The Boilermakers played their best tournament of the fall this weekend, topping five of the top-25 teams in the NCAA and tying fourth-ranked Duke as four of the five Purdue golfers posted season-best marks for 54 holes.

The Boilermakers shot +10 (298) on Sunday, led by sophomore August Kim who shot even-par (72). Kim made five birdies on the day to lead the team, but put up three bogies and a double bogey on the first hole to even out the scorecard. Kim posted a career-best 54-hole score for the second straight tournament, finishing up at +4 (220) to tie for 24th place.

Freshman Marta Martin finished +1 (73) to conclude her best collegiate tournament, finishing tied for 16th individually with a three-day total of +2 (218). Senior Aurora Kan tied Kim on the final individual leaderboard at +4 (220), shooting +6 (78) on Sunday, but still turning in her best 54-hole performance of the fall. Fellow senior Johanna Tillstrom put together a solid effort to offer up the final team score for the Boilermakers on Sunday, carding a +3 (75) to finish +5 (221) for the tournament and also finishing with her top 54-hole score of the season.

Wake Forest took the team title on Sunday, becoming the first team in tournament history to win the Landfall Tradition three times, and smashed the lowest team score record at even par (286-289-289=864). Alabama finished second at +4 (868), while Notre Dame and South Carolina tied for third at +7 (871). Central Florida's Ashley Holder held on to the individual title, finishing -7 (209), followed by Nanna Madsen of South Carolina at -6 (210) and Alabama's Emma Talley at -5 (211). Holder matched the individual tournament record, set by Vanderbilt's Chris Brady in 2004.

The Boilermakers will open the spring season by hosting the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico on Feb. 15-17, at the Rio Mar Country Club.
