WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue University was announced the winner of the Suits and Sneakers Challenge this past weekend, an event designated to get students, coaches, game attendees and beyond dressed up in suit attire with sneakers to further awareness of Coaches vs. Cancer.
As a result, the Relay For Life of Purdue University wins $10,000 towards their event. With the students and fans help, Coaches vs. Cancer was able to further its mission by increasing cancer prevention and awareness.
Purdue outdistanced three other schools that hosted events this weekend and was followed by Indiana, Nebraska and Northwestern.
The Colleges Against Cancer Student Organization on campus that plans the Relay For Life event, whom will be receiving the $10,000, is very excited and thankful for that support.
