BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Purdue men's and women's track and field teams took a squad of five men and three women to the Indiana Relays on Friday night, bringing home four personal records and an event championship. Sophomore Emily Breslin led the charge, clearing 1.73 meters (5-08.00) to win the women's high jump.

Breslin's mark is her second straight indoor personal record, and her best mark as a Boilermaker in her collegiate career. Senior captain Lauren Scott was the other Purdue woman to notch a personal best, clocking a time of 56.61 in the 400-meter dash for the top indoor time of her career.

On the men's side, sophomore Andy Dunn and freshman Gabe Pirtle both notched collegiate bests as Dunn sped to a time of 49.35 in the 400-meter dash, while Pirtle clocked a mark of 1:20.88 in the 600-meter run. Freshman Josh Lee finished just behind Dunn in the 400 with a time of 49.48, while rookie Jacob Palmer trailed Pirtle with a time of 1:21.54.

The Boilermakers saw other solid performances from juniors Adetayo Adesanya and Rachel Stalzer. Adesanya cleared 2.10 meters (6-10.75) in the men's high jump for the fourth consecutive meet, taking second place, while Stalzer was just off her personal best in the women's 600-meters, crossing the line in 1:34.81.

The full Purdue roster returns to action next Friday and Saturday, heading north to the annual Meyo Invitational, hosted by the University of Notre Dame.
