WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Through 36 holes of play in the Boilermaker Invitational, Indiana and Michigan State are tied for first with total scores of 563. The 563 team scores are good for 13-under par. Rounding out the top five teams, Illinois and Kent State are tied for third, six shots behind Indiana and Michigan State. Wisconsin is sitting in fifth place with a first day team total of 571 through two rounds. The 571 team total by Wisconsin puts the Badgers at five-under par.

Individually, Indiana's Jorge Campillo leads the field followed by Ryan Brehm of Michigan State and John Hahn of Kent State who are tied for second. Campillo shot a blistering nine-under 63 in the first round and a 68 in the second round. Campillo's first and second round total of 131 and 13-under has him seven shots in front of Brehm and Hahn who both shot six-under for a total of 138.

Purdue is in sixth place after Saturday's two rounds, 10 shots behind Indiana and Michigan State at 573 overall, which is good for three under-par. The Boilermakers are only two shots behind Wisconsin for fifth and four shots back of Illinois and Kent State who are tied for third. The Boilermakers were led by freshman David Gersztein and junior Tom Oliver on Saturday.

Through two rounds, Gersztein is tied for 11th overall after finishing two-under par. The freshman shot 67 in the first round and had a 75 in the second round for a two-round total of 142. Going into Sunday's final round Gersztein is tied with Northwestern's Dan Doyle and Indiana's Seth Brandon for 11th, 11 shots back of leader Jorge Campillo of Indiana.

Junior Tom Oliver is tied with five other golfers at one-under par for 14th place. Oliver shot one-under par in the first round and then an even-par 72 in the second round.

Purdue freshman Nakarintra Ratanakul shot an even 144 on Saturday placing him in a tie for 20th. Junior Michael Randle (74-72) and freshman Maximo Kopp (73-73) both shot two-over for a total of 146. Fellow freshman Keith Shanks (74-78) had a first day total of 152 and Ali Khan shot a 170, 26-over on Saturday.
