WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue women's golf team took home the team title today as three players finished in the top-12 individually after a successful final round at the Bryan National Collegiate. The No. 15 Boilermakers used a team score of 294 for an 887 three-day total and a seven shot win.

Sophomore Maria Hernandez had another successful weekend, winning medalist honors after defeating Florida's Sandra Gal on the third sudden death playoff hole. Hernandez fired a final round 71 to finish at one-under, 215 for the tournament.

Sophomore Christel Boeljon shot up the leaderboard today after posting a three-under, 69 to finish in a tie for sixth at three-over, 219 for the tournament. Freshman Stefanie Endstrasser carded a 79 to finish at 224 and tied for 12th. Senior Myrte Eikenaar finished tied for 35th after shooting a final round 75 to finish at 229 for the tournament.

No. 12 Florida ended up in second place after posting a 302 today for an 894 total. No. 20 North Carolina used a final round 297 to finish third with a team score of 897, ten shots back of the Boilermakers.
