GREENSBORO, N.C. - Through two rounds of play at the Bryan National Collegiate, the No. 15 Purdue women's golf team is tied for second place, one stroke behind tournament leader Florida. The Boilermakers used a 303 this afternoon to put them in good position heading into tomorrow's final round.

The No. 12 Gators fired a 294 today and were the only team to post a second round score below 300. No. 2 Duke is tied with Purdue for second place after shooting a 301, leaving them one stroke off the pace. No. 20 North Carolina fell back to fourth after carding a 309, seven strokes back.

Sophomore Maria Hernandez leads the way for the Boilermakers once again, as she used a one-over, 73 today to put her in a tie for the individual lead. Freshman Stefanie Endstrasser continued her solid play as well with a three-over 75, leaving her tied for third place. Sophomore Christel Boeljon (T-17) gave Purdue a third golfer in the top-20 after firing a five-over 77. Senior Myrte Eikenaar (T-35) finished the scoring for the Boilermakers after she posted a six-over 78.

Amanda Blumenherst of Duke carded a one-under 71 to tie her for the individual lead with Hernandez. Whitney Myers of Florida posted the lowest round of the day, a two-under 70, to tie her with Endstrasser for third place overall.
