COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Purdue men's golf team finished the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate on a soggy OSU Scarlet Course. The tournament was shortened to two rounds due to inclement weather as the Boilermakers went 303-320 (623) to escape the conditions in a tie for eighth with Michigan.

Purdue was led by senior Pariya Junhasavasdikul, who finished T-18th individually. He went 74-79 to finish at 153 for the tournament.

Freshman Vince Nadeau and sophomore Tom Oliver were solid as well, both finishing in a T-28th. Nadeau posted 76-78 to finish at 154 and Oliver carded 74-80 to also end up at 154.

Sophomore Michael Randle went 80-83 to finish at 163 and T-68th. Senior Peter Richardson carded 79-85 to finish at 164 and T-70th.

No. 20 Louisville took home the team title with a 591 (292-299). Michigan State finished in second after firing a 600 (295-305) and Penn State finished in third after posting a 606 (296-310). Host Ohio State finished in seventh after carding a 620 (305-315).

Matt Harmon of Michigan State went even par (71-71) for the tournament to take home medalist honors. Derek Fathauer of Louisville shot two-over par (72-72) to finish second. Robert Rohanna of Penn State shot four-over par (71-75) to finish in third place individually.
