Men's Golf Tied For Ninth At Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. - The Purdue men's golf team is tied for ninth after the second round of the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C.

The event is being hosted by UNC-Wilmington and will conclude with final-round play on Sunday.

The Boilermakers fired a second-round 287 and are tied with Florida State with a two-day total of 591. Minnesota leads the event after a 571 over the first two rounds.

The Boilermakers have been led by senior Shiv Kapur, who fired a second-round 69 and is tied for 10th overall after a two-round 144.

Freshman Pariya Junhasavasdikul and junior Dustin Cone are tied for 28th overall. Junhasavasdikul fired a 71 on Saturday and Cone carded a 74.

Freshman Peter Richardson is tied for 38th after a two-round 150. Senior Luke Epp has totaled a 152 and is tied for 46th.

The tournament is being played on the 6,973-yard, par-72 Country Club of Landfall, a course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The final round will be held on Sunday. The Landfall Tradition is the final tournament of the fall season for the Boilermakers.
