TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Purdue men's golf team finished in 10th place at the Conrad Rehling Alabama Spring Invitational. The Boilermakers shot a final-round 291 on the Capstone Club Golf Course in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Saturday. Purdue had a three-day total of 895.
Auburn won the event with an 857. Alabama placed second with an 865.
Junior Shiv Kapur fired a final-round 71 and tied for 13th overall. He had a total of 218.
Senior Peter Karmis tied for 23rd after a 222. He carded a 71 on Sunday. Sophomore Dustin Cone tied for 52nd place. He fired a final-round 74.
Junior Ryan Barauskas tied fro 56th after a 78 on Sunday. Senior Chris Mayson totaled a 232 after a final-round 75. He tied for 61st overall.
The Boilermakers are in action again on March 21 and 23 at the Furman Intercollegiate in Greenville, S.C.
