Men's Golf In 11th Place

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Purdue men's golf team is in 11th place after the second round of play at the Conrad Rehling Alabama Spring Invitational. The Boilermakers shot a second-round 310 on the Capstone Club Golf Course in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Saturday. Purdue has a two-day total of 604.

Auburn is in the team lead with two-over 570 on the par 71 course. Kentucky is in second place with a two-day total of 578.

Junior Shiv Kapur fired a second-round 73 and is tied for 21st overall with a 147.

Senior Peter Karmis is tied for 39th after a second-round 79. His has a two-round total of 151. Junior Ryan Barauskas is tied for 49th with a two-day total of 152.

Sophomore Dustin Cone is tied for 57th with a 154. Senior Chris Mayson is in 62nd place with a 157.

The 54-hole tournament will conclude on Sunday, March 16.
