Men's Golf In 12th Place In Conrad Rehling Invitational

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Purdue men's golf team is in 12th place after the second round of the Conrad Rehling Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The event is being hosted by the University of Alabama.

The Boilermakers fired a second-round 299 and have a two-day total of 592. Minnesota leads the event with a 565.

Senior Lee Williamson carded a three-over 74 in the second round and is tied for eighth place overall with a two-day total of 141.

Sophomore Shiv Kapur carded a team-low 73 and is tied for 45th overall. Junior Chris Mayson and junior Peter Karmis are both tied for 52nd with two-day totals of 152. Mayson had a 74 and Karmis had an 80 on Saturday. Freshman Dustin Cone is tied for 62nd at 155 after shooting a 78 on Saturday.

The event is being held at the Capstone Club. The final round begins tomorrow at 8 p.m. EST.
