Women's Golf Finishes Two Rounds of TRW Challenge

After the conclusion of first round play was postponed at the TRW Challenge, rounds one and two were concluded on Tuesday, as the Purdue Boilermakers womens golf team is in 12th place. The Boilermakers finished round one with a score of 309, then shot 312 for the second round.

Caroline Laurens and Kari Damron lead the way, as both members are in the top 20 individually. Laurens, who was fourth after a rain-shortened first round, shot a 73 for the first round and a 76 for the second to give her a two-round total of 149. Damron shot 75 in both the first and second rounds, putting her one stroke behind Laurens at 150. Christy Rittenhouse finishes the first two rounds with a score of 162 (79-81) while Heather Zielinski finished one stroke behind Rittenhouse with a score of 162 (83-79). Freshman Beth Hermes shot 165 (82-83).

The TRW Regional Challenge concludes tomorrow with round three.
