WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - On Jan. 6, the Purdue men's swim team competed in Florida Atlantic's New Year's Invitational, and finishing first out of six teams. The Boilermakers compiled 940.5 points while their next closest competitor, Florida Atlantic, totaled 613 points.
"I was very proud of the way our guys competed," Purdue head coach Dan Ross said. "The guys really swam hard and gave it a great effort."
Other teams participating in the meet included Oakland, Bucknell, Niagara (Canada) and Binghamton.
