Chris Peludat joined Purdue Athletics as assistant athletics director for marketing and ticketing in 2011. His current responsibilities include managing the marketing, promotional and advertising campaigns for the department and overseeing the creatives services and video production areas, as well as the spirit squad. He was promoted to associate athletics director in 2015, and elevated again in 2025 to senior associate athletics director.
The Boilermakers were recognized as the 2019 Marketing Team of the Year by the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators.
Peludat (pronounced PELL-u-dot) came to Purdue from the United States Air Force Academy, where he had served as associate athletics director for ticket sales and operations since 2000. He handled the season ticket allocation for football, men's and women's basketball, and hockey, while collaborating with the marketing staff to develop and implement sales and promotion strategies. Peludat implemented the first stored value ticket technology in collegiate athletics and served as system administrator for the Paciolan ticketing system used at Purdue.
Previously, Peludat was assistant ticket manager at Air Force (January to November 2000) and ticket office coordinator at the U.S. Naval Academy (June to December 1999).
A native of Collinsville, Illinois, Peludat earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from UMass Amherst in 1999.
Chris and his wife, Kristin, have three children: Cooper, Charlotte and Reece. He is an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
