MLB DRAFT HISTORY
· Selected in 37th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the New York Mets

2019 / AS A JUNIOR
· Buster Posey Award Watch List (formerly the Johnny Bench Award)
· Played in all 54 games, starting all but one
· Made 39 starts behind the plate, eight more at first base and six at DH
· Threw out a Big Ten-high 18 (of 49) base stealers
· Posted a team-long 15-game hit streak from April 20 to May 14, batting .397 with 18 RBI during streak
· Became just the sixth Boilermaker of the decade (2010-19) with a double in four consecutive games
· His 15-game hit streak was the longest by a Boilermaker since 2011
· Recognized as the team's Offensive Player of the Year
· Enjoyed a memorable 4-for-4 night in the May 14 win vs. Xavier, recording three extra-base hits and scoring all four of Purdue’s runs
· Hit the decisive two-run homer in the seventh inning of the 2-0 win vs. Michigan State on May 3
· Also homered against NJIT, Nebraska and Xavier
· Drove in the go-ahead run with an RBI single in the ninth inning of the 4-0 win at Texas

· Played his first two collegiate seasons at Indian Hills College in Ottumwa, Iowa
· Two-time NJCAA Region XI Defensive Player of the Year as the starting catcher
· Led his team in batting average (.364) while recording 18 doubles, 5 home runs and 48 RBI as a sophomore
· Also pitched in 13 games in 2018, registering a 3.00 ERA and nine saves
· First-team All-Region as a sophomore and second team as freshman

· Played for the Moose Jaw Miller Express in the Western Major Baseball League in the summer of 2017
