Purdue Loses Another One Run Game
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The University of Purdue baseball team came up one run short against the University of Michigan Sunday, losing by a final score of 3-2.
The Boilermakers managed to pound out 10 hits, but stranded 18 runners. They were led by Daryl Hallada's three hits and third baseman Ryan Cole's 2-for-3 performance with a homerun.
Purdue starter Mike Wedman took the loss, pitching seven innings while allowing seven hits and three earned runs.
