Purdue Earns First Win
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Purdue baseball team earned its first victory of the season by defeating Toledo 6-2 at Cameron Stadium Sunday afternoon. Purdue improves to 1-3 while Toledo falls to 0-1.
Mark Tomsyck was the offensive workhorse for the Boilermakers, hitting 1-for-3 with two runs and three stolen bases. Mike Hedman pitched a complete game and allowed only six hits and two runs over seven innings to earn his first victory of the season (1-0).
