Barb Kapp is responsible for the fiscal management of all areas of Purdue Athletics. In her role, she oversees the business office and departmental travel. Also reporting to Kapp are the assistant athletics director for facilities, assistant athletics director for human resources, director of equipment operations and director of technology.

Kapp was promoted to senior associate athletics director in 2012. She previously served as associate athletics director (2006-12), assistant athletics director (2003-06), associate business manager (2001-03), and computing and network services consultant (1994-2001).

Prior to joining the Purdue staff, Kapp worked as an account analyst for Inland Steel Company in East Chicago, Indiana, for 13 years.

A native of Hammond, Indiana, Kapp earned a bachelor's degree in industrial management with minors in accounting and finance from Purdue in 1979 and a master's degree from Purdue in 2005.

Barb and her husband, Greg, have two sons, Matthew and Chris.
