Boilers Place Fifth at River Wilderness
TAMPA, Fla. - The Purdue women's golf team finished fifth of 13 teams at the University of South Florida River Wilderness Invitational today. The Boilers totaled a 958 score over the 54 hole tournament, Indiana captured the title with a 909 total.
Sophomore Angie Blythe, junior Colleen Cashman and freshman Stacy Orschell all tied for 15th-place with scores of 237. Blythe tallied the lowest round of the trio, shooting a 74 on the final loop. Junior Heather Hasselberg tied for 37th with a 247. Medalist honors went to Erin Carney of Indiana, who shot 224.
