Purdue opens the season with its first California trip since 2016, taking on Cal Poly on Friday, Oct. 31, before wrestling Cal State Bakersfield on Sunday, Nov. 2.
The Boilers then make their second straight trip to the Tiger Style Invitational, which boasts a loaded tournament field in which they finished second last season.
Purdue returns to West Lafayette to host the Boilermaker Duals on Saturday, Nov. 15, an annual tradition that last took place in 2023. In a quad dual inside Lambert Fieldhouse, Purdue will scrap with Buffalo, Northern Illinois and American on Big Ten Plus.
On Sunday, Nov. 23, the Boilers return to the Tar Heel State for the first time since last year's season-opener at Gardner-Webb. Purdue wrestles Davidson in the John M. Belk Arena at 3 p.m. ET.
Purdue will again try its luck in the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, marking the team’s 19th appearance at the event. Commonly considered the most prestigious in-season tournament in college wrestling, Purdue put two on the podium last season; most notably, Matt Ramos, now an assistant coach for the Boilers, became the fifth CKLV champion in school history.
After a Dec. 14 trip to Morgan State in Baltimore, Purdue will be back on the east coast on Jan. 2 to wrestle Drexel (in Philadelphia) and Rider (in Lawrenceville, N.J.) on the same day.
On the team’s third straight east coast trip, Purdue opens Big Ten action with a dual at Maryland on Friday, Jan. 16, and at Rutgers on Sunday, Jan. 18.
The Old Gold & Black will open its home conference slate in Holloway Gymnasium against Michigan State on Friday, Jan. 23, before crossing the street the following week to host Wisconsin in Mackey Arena. Purdue resumed its Mackey match tradition last season when it hosted Indiana. Mackey Arena was the former home of Purdue Wrestling since it was built in 1967 through the 1983-84 season.
The Boilermakers later travel to Nebraska on Friday, Feb. 6, before hosting Illinois back in Holloway on Sunday, Feb. 8. Senior Day inside Holloway will be against Iowa on Sunday, Feb. 15.
Purdue closes its regular season with a trip to rival Indiana. That dual is currently set for Friday, Feb. 20, in Bloomington’s Wilkinson Hall.
The Big Ten Championships are set for March 7-8 in State College, Pa., followed by the NCAA Championships in Cleveland from March 19-21.
Dates and times are subject to change.
