WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue Divers are set to compete on three different continents this summer, beginning this weekend at the Canada Cup and culminating with a trio of Boilermakers at the World Aquatic Championships.

Sophie McAfee, Max Miller, Kaden Springfield and Holden Higbie are all planning to represent USA Diving at the World University Games, July 17-23 in Berlin. Based on their performances at the USA Diving National Championships last month at Auburn, Jordan Rzepka, Tyler Wills and Daryn Wright earned the right to compete at the World Aquatic Championships, July 25-Aug. 3 in Singapore. All three Boilermakers are veterans of the World Championships.

June features the Canada Cup this weekend in Quebec and the American Cup next week in West Virginia. Miller, McAfee, Wills and incoming freshman Nathaniel Grannis are all representing USA Diving in Quebec.

Platform specialists McAfee, Springfield and Wright are also planning to visit Italy the first week of July for the longstanding Bolzano Diving Meeting. This year is the 47th edition of the annual showcase in the gateway to the Italian Alps.

Rising sophomore swimmer Adele Sands is also racing Friday in the 400-meter freestyle at USA Swimming's Toyota National Championships at the IU Natatorium in Downtown Indianapolis. That meet is serving as the World Aquatics Championships qualifier. Purdue swimmers training this summer at the Burke Aquatic Center are slated to compete at three other prominent long course meets before the 2025-26 school year begins in August. Up first is the Indy Summer Cup the weekend of June 25-28 at the IU Natatorium. More information about those meets will be shared in the coming weeks.
