PURDUE POINTS
• Matt Ramos is likely to face No. 2 Eric Barnett on Sunday. The Boilermaker won in a 4-3 decision in the dual last year.
• It will be the 17th top-10 matchup of his career. He is 9-8 in those contests and 4-4 against the top-5.
• Joey Blaze (8) and Greyson Clark (6) have the most and second most dual wins of any true freshmen in the Big Ten.
• Four times under Ersland has a Boiler beat a No. 1 ranked opponent. Ramos is responsible for three of them and the fourth was an injury default.
• Ben Vanadia picked up his first ranked win of the season last weekend in a 6-3 sudden victory decision over No. 33 Gabe Sollars of Indiana. It was also the first OT match of his career.
• Stoney Buell snagged his third ranked win of the season against Indiana's No. 22 Tyler Lillard in a 5-1 decision.
• Brody Baumann earned his first B1G dual win in last year's match against Wisconsin's Josh Otto, taking a 10-6 decision on three takedowns.
NUMBERS TO KNOW

• 2 - Joey Blaze is the only true freshman under Ersland to knock off a top-5 opponent. He's done it twice. Only two others have a top-10 win.
• 1 - Ramos is the unanimous No. 1 at 125 for the second time this season. He is only the second Boiler to be unanimous since Intermat began ranking in 1998.
• 139 - The Boilermakers are outscoring their opponents by 139 points in the first period and are +128 in back points on the year.
HAMMER DOWN CANCER
The dual against Wisconsin is the annual Hammer Down Cancer match for the Boilermakers. The team will auction off special, limited-edition singlets, with all proceeds going to support the Tyler Trent Cancer Research Endowment.
This marks the seventh year the team has auctioned off the custom singlets. During last year's event in a dual against Iowa, Boilermaker nation raised a record $4,070 toward cancer research.
The auction for Sunday's singlets will be held online, with bids starting at $100 for 14 total singlets. Bids online will be accepted through the end of Sunday's dual meet, and singlets will be distributed to winners. Fans who would like donate without biding can also do so on the auction website.
FRESHMEN PHENOMS
True freshmen Joey Blaze and Greyson Clark earned spots in the lineup from day one of their college careers and have already shown the talent that made them both top-30 recruits.
Blaze (14-6) made the biggest splash early by knocking off No. 5 Ed Scott of N.C. State in sudden victory. He was the first unranked Boiler to beat a top-5 opponent since Griffin Parriott beat Nebraska's No. 3 Tyler Berger in sudden victory. He is one of just five under Ersland to defeat top-5 opposition while unranked themselves.
Clark (13-5) has shown technique beyond his years. He leads the team with 38 back points on 11 near-fall attempts with five bonus point victories to his name.
The duo are also 2-of-9 Big Ten true freshmen currently ranked by InterMat. Blaze is the only B1G true freshman ranked at 157.
