WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Six Purdue soccer games are scheduled to air on national television during the 2022 regular season, the Big Ten Conference has announced.

Five of the six games will air live on the Big Ten Network, while one will be broadcast on ESPNU. Four contests will be televised from Folk Field, and three will see the Boilermakers face a fellow 2021 NCAA Tournament team.

Purdue's six national broadcasts comes after the team had two TV games in the regular season each of the last four years.

The TV coverage begins with the season-opener this Thursday, August 18, against No. 15 USC, on the Big Ten Network. The 7 p.m. ET contest at Folk Field will be a matchup between two NCAA Tournament, top-25 and conference runners-up from a year ago, as both the Boilermakers and Trojans advanced to the NCAA Second Round, finished the year nationally ranked and placed second in the Big Ten and Pac-12, respectively.

ESPNU will come to Folk Field on Thursday, September 22 as Purdue hosts Wisconsin. That match will now begin at 5 p.m. ET, as the Boilermakers host another 2021 NCAA Tournament team.

The national television cameras remain at Folk Field for the Boilermakers' next two home games. The Big Ten Network will have the broadcast of the Nebraska contest on Thursday, September 29, with kickoff now at 6 p.m. ET.

BTN also will air the Rutgers match on Sunday, October 2, at noon ET. That will see the top two teams in the Big Ten in 2021, runner-up Purdue and conference-champion Rutgers, square off in West Lafayette.

The Boilermakers' regular-season TV schedule concludes with a pair of road games, at Iowa on Thursday, October 13, and at Indiana on Sunday, October 16, both on the Big Ten Network. Coverage from Iowa City begins at 8 p.m. ET, while the outing in Bloomington, where Purdue will look to keep the Golden Boot Trophy for an eighth consecutive year, starts at 2 p.m. ET.

Along with the six nationally-televised contests, Purdue's remaining five home games and three road Big Ten games all will be streamed on B1G+. Additional information about the streaming schedule for conference and non-conference games will be available prior to each match.

The 2022 regular season begins on Thursday against No. 15 USC at 7 p.m. ET at Folk Field. It's the first of 17 regular-season games, which include nine home games and 10 Big Ten contests. Admission is free for all fans to Thursday's match and every regular-season home game once again in 2022.

The Boilermakers are coming off one of the greatest seasons in program history in 2021. Purdue went 15-4-3, its second-best record and second-most wins in team history behind only 2007. The team made the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2009, and seventh time in program history, and advanced to the second round for the fourth time and first since 2007. The Boilermakers went 8-2-0 in the Big Ten and notched a runner-up finish, both tied for their best-ever marks.
