WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue men's tennis team is set for a 16-match all-Big Ten regular season for the 2021 campaign, as the conference unveiled the Boilermakers' slate.

Purdue will host seven matches and compete on the road nine times. The Boilermakers will face Indian, Michigan State, Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan twice, with one match each against Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Northwestern, Wisconsin and Nebraska.

The 2021 campaign will open on the road Feb. 19 and Feb. 21 at Nebraska and Iowa, respectively.

Purdue will make its debut at the Schwartz Tennis Center on Feb. 27 against Michigan State, followed by a visit from Michigan a day later.

Following a back-to-back trip to Ohio State (March 5) and Penn State (March 7), the Boilermakers will then head out for a March 13 trip to Bloomington to face the Hoosiers.

The Boilermakers will host Northwestern (March 19) and Illinois (March 21), before a four-match road swing to Minnesota (March 26), Wisconsin (March 28), Michigan State (April 3) and Michigan (April 4).

Purdue will close out the regular season with three straight matches at the Schwartz Tennis Center against Ohio State on April 9 and Penn State on April 11, with a season-finale against Indiana on April 17.

The Big Ten Tournament will be played in Lincoln, Neb., from April 28 through May 2.

Head coach Pawel Gajdzik enters his 12th season at Purdue with an incredibly experience-laden squad. After the departures of three seniors, including 2020 ITA Most Improved Senior Athell Bennett, six members of the 2021 roster have featured in the singles and doubles lineup over the last two years.

The Boilermakers were 10-7 last season, including a five-match winning streak, before the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the remaining 13 contests.

All matches at the Schwartz Tennis Center will not have any fan, friends or family admittance. All home contests will be streamed for free through PurdueSports.com
