A statement from Purdue Athletics regarding fans at Holloway Gymnasium for the 2021 volleyball and wrestling seasons.
In the interest of maintaining the safest possible environment for student-athletes, coaches and staff, Purdue Athletics will host competitions without fans in attendance for the upcoming spring volleyball and wrestling seasons in Holloway Gymnasium. Immediate family members of student-athletes and team staff will be the only spectators permitted at this time. While we know this is disappointing, an evaluation of the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic in collaboration with campus and local public health authorities dictates that this is the best course of action.
