Purdue begins a two-game roadswing with a Tuesday contest at No. 25-ranked Rutgers on Tuesday.

Purdue (11-9, 4-5) begins a two-game roadswing with a Tuesday contest at No. 25-ranked Rutgers (15-5, 6-3). Dave Revsine and Seth Davis will handle the broadcast on BTN, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. On the radio, Rob Blackman and Larry Clisby will have the call courtside on the Purdue Radio Network and TuneIn.com, beginning with the Purdue Basketball Pregame Show at 7 p.m. ET. • Purdue owns a 12-1 series lead against Rutgers, including a 7-0 mark under head coach Matt Painter. The Boilermakers have won 10 in a row against the Scarlet Knights.

• With 11 regular-season games left, nine of Purdue's 11 opponents are either nationally-ranked or receiving votes. 

• SOMETHING TO WATCH: Rutgers has been flat-out dominant at home, while Purdue has struggled on the road. If Purdue hopes to break through on the road, it will have to do so in front of a tough atmosphere at The RAC.

• In each of Purdue's last two road games, the Boilermakers will face a team that is unbeaten at home. The Boilermakers faced Maryland on Jan. 18, falling to the Terps by a 57-50 margin. Maryland is 11-0 at home. Rutgers enters Tuesday's game with a 14-0 home record.

• In Purdue's four Big Ten wins, the Boilermakers average 70.5 points per game and shoot 43.0 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from deep. In five losses, Purdue is averaging 56.6 points and shoot 34.5 percent from the field and 21.9 percent from deep. In the losses, the Boilermakers average just 8.0 assists per game. 

• Purdue is 10-0 this year and 30-1 since the start of last year when shooting a higher field goal percentage than its opponent. The lone loss came to Virginia in last year's Elite Eight. The Boilermakers are 1-9 when shooting a lower field goal percentage than its opponent.

• The Boilermakers own a 23-1 record all-time against schools from the state of New Jersey. 

• Purdue is looking for its first win on the road against a nationally-ranked team since Feb. 4, 2017, against No. 17-ranked Maryland (73-72). The Boilermakers have lost seven straight games since that victory.

• Purdue is 7-2 this year when Eric Hunter Jr., leads the team in assists.

• Purdue and Rutgers will meet for the 14th time on Tuesday, with 12 of the contests coming since Rutgers joined the Big Ten prior to the 2014-15 season.
