Returning from a two-game road swing, the Purdue women's basketball team will be back at Mackey Arena on Thursday night for a 7 p.m. tip against Illinois.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Returning from a two-game road swing, the Purdue women's basketball team will be back at Mackey Arena on Thursday night for a 7 p.m. tip against Illinois. Tim Newton will have the call on 95.3 BOB FM, while BTN+ will stream the game.

Ae'Rianna Harris posted 14 rebounds against Northwestern, her sixth game with at least 10 rebounds this season. The senior enters Thursday 14 rebounds shy of Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton's career record of 968 boards. Harris is also 15 blocks away from Joe Barry Carroll's Purdue record of 349 rejections.

Defensively, the Boilermakers are third in the Big Ten Conference with 59.4 points allowed in league games. Purdue has held opponents to an average of 15 points below their points per game tally this season. Largely thanks to Harris' 51 blocks, the Boilermakers are second in the conference and 18th nationally with 84 rejections.

Ahead of the Boilermakers' Feb. 9 game against Iowa for the Beat Cancer Pinkout, the Boilermakers are raising money for the Lace Up Foundation.
