WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Trevion Williams had a slow start to his freshman year, but came on strong late, helping Purdue to its 24th Big Ten Championship and a spot in the Elite Eight. After playing sparingly in the first 10 games of the season, the 6-foot, 9-inch Williams broke out after the calendar turned to 2019. Over the last 25 games, he averaged 6.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.6 blocks and 0.4 steals per game in just 12.4 minutes per game. He was recently invited to try for the USA Under-19 World Cup Team that will compete in the FIBA U-19 World Cup in Greece.
