WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The No. 35-ranked Purdue men's golf team will find out its postseason destination Wednesday when the NCAA unveils the NCAA Regional Championships field.

The Golf Channel will broadcast the NCAA Men's Golf Championship selection show on Wednesday, May 2, beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m. ET, during its Golf Central show and streamed live on the Golf Channel website. Eighty-one teams and 45 individuals will be selected to compete in the six NCAA Men's Regional Championship sites, May 14-16 (13 teams and 10 individuals at three regionals and 14 teams and five individuals at three regionals). Thirty teams and six individuals will advance from regional sites to the national championships to be played May 25-30, at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The six regional sites are as follows:
• Lonnie Poole Golf Course (Raleigh, North Carolina; hosted by NC State)
• Traditions Club (Bryan, Texas; hosted by Texas A&M)
• OSU Golf Club, Scarlet Course (Columbus, Ohio; hosted by Ohio State)
• Reunion Resort (Kissimmee, Florida; hosted by UCF)
• Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club (Norman, Oklahoma; hosted by Oklahoma)
• The Reserve at Spanos Park (Stockton, California; hosted by Pacific)

Purdue will be making its fifth straight NCAA Regionals appearance, which is the second-longest NCAA appearance streak in school history, behind the 19 consecutive appearances made from 1949 to 1967.

The Boilermakers have advanced out of regionals to the national championships three times in the last four years under head coach Rob Bradley (2014, 2016, 2017). The year that the Boilermakers missed (2015), they lost in a playoff for the fifth and final spot to Houston.

Purdue is 1-of-3 Big Ten schools to advance to four straight NCAA Regionals, joining just Illinois and Iowa on the list. Since 2014, Purdue, Illinois and Penn State are the only Big Ten schools to reach the national championship round. Illinois has done so four times, Purdue has reached nationals three times and Penn State advanced to last year's national championships.

Purdue is one of 17 schools nationally to make back-to-back NCAA National Championship appearances.

Purdue's 29 NCAA National Championship appearance are the third most for a "northern" school, behind Ohio State (46) and BYU (30). Purdue's 29 appearances in the national championships are the second most for a Big Ten school.
