Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex Maintenance
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex is located on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Purdue University's Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex hosted the 2008 NCAA Men's Championships and the 2003 NCAA Women's Championships on the Pete Dye designed Kampen Course. Featuring two 18-hole championship Pete Dye Designed golf courses. Students are vital to the operations and maintenance of these manicured golf courses. These student positions are designed to work around class schedules. Hours include early morning and weekends – up to 40 or more hours per week.

Baseball Student Manager
Job Description
The Purdue University Baseball Student Manager Program allows Purdue students to gain experience working for a Division 1 Big 10 baseball program. Managers are tasked with a wide range of responsibilities that are critical to the success and progress of the baseball program. They will work in conjunction with the Purdue Baseball Coaches to enhance both the experience and development of the Purdue Baseball Players. Creative Services - NOW HIRING
Purdue Creative serves as a central cog of the Purdue Athletic Department, helping ideate, facilitate and create content that generates revenue, engages fans and promotes our sports and department as a whole.
More than likely, your role will focus on one of the following proficiencies: Graphic Design, Video Board/Media Systems, Photography, or Video Production, with opportunity to crossover in select situations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Management - NOW HIRING
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Purdue Athletics Event Operations Department is currently seeking interns for the 2025-26 school year. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for the role.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Purdue Athletics Event Management Department, this position will be responsible for assisting with the effective execution and coordination of all home Purdue Athletic events.
- Assist with organizing and executing varsity athletic events and special events.

- Organize and implement promotions, distribute printed materials, service department sponsors and assist when necessary with events outside of typical athletic competitions
- Coordinate special projects such as autograph days, National Anthem auditions, Boilermaker Kids Club, campus athletic-related events, and community outreach initiatives

Ticket Office - NOW HIRING
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Purdue University Athletics Ticket Office (ATO) is responsible for ticketing six sports and is considered the doorstep to Purdue Athletics. The ATO relies heavily on Purdue student employees to work both in the office during normal business hours and at athletic events, which generally occur outside normal business hours. Office hours are assigned based on a student’s class schedule and availability of hours. Most student employees work between 4 and 10 hours in the office along with athletic events throughout the school year. Student employees are required to work all home football games and be reliable and dependable members of the ATO staff.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process ticket sales at the ticket office during office hours and athletic events
- Answer questions concerning ticket prices & policies and provide general athletic department information to customers

Schwartz Tennis Center - Customer Service Representative
ABOUT THE TENNIS CENTER
The home of Purdue Men’s and Women’s Tennis. Schwartz Tennis Center is open to the public, Purdue faculty and staff, as well as Purdue students. The tennis center offers private and group lessons, adult and junior clinics, and more. Customer Service Representative (CSR) are vital to the daily operations of the Tennis Center. Most CSR’s will work 10-15 hours per week as determined by their schedule and facility operational hours. Facility hours vary from 7am to midnight.

- Opening and closing the facility
- Working closely with the manager on duty

ABOUT THE TENNIS CENTER
The home of Purdue Men’s and Women’s Tennis. Schwartz Tennis Center is open to the public, Purdue faculty and staff, as well as Purdue students. The tennis center offers private and group lessons, adult and junior clinics, and more. The tennis center provides racquet re-stringing for our patrons. We offer a 48 hour turn around with the service. Stringers are called in on a need basis. This position will have flexible hours.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Purdue Athletics Event Operations Department strives to provide a safe, organized, and pleasant game experience at all Purdue Athletic Events for fans, student-athletes, game officials, community, and corporate partners. Our commitment is to:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Purdue Athletics – Event Management department with parking operations for all varsity sports and other events hosted in athletic venues.
- Parking attendants are the first point of contact with fans on game days, all fans should be positively greeted and provided high quality customer service.
- Assist parking vehicles in paved, grass, gravel, and parking garages.
- Ensure Purdue Athletics tailgate policies and guidelines are followed by all fans.
- Communicate with parking lot supervisors any tailgate policies and or guidelines being violated.
- Evaluate parking to ensure optimal utilization of area and maintain safety of all guests.
- Park vehicles efficiently in all lots to take advantage of all available space.
- Manage entrance into gameday athletics controlled lots which include; scanning permits, accepting payment, and directing traffic.
- Prior to lots opening, notify event management how many (if any) vehicles need to be ticketed and towed from lots.
- Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spot.
- Work with onsite PUPD officers to resolve parking lot issues.
- Have an understanding of game day details and provide fans with game day information and provide accurate directions to surrounding parking lots, Ross-Ade Stadium, Mackey Arena and ticket offices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work well within in a group setting.

- Manual labor which may include lifting, carrying, long periods of standing and walking.
- Strong oral and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.

- General Knowledge of athletics related rules/regulations.

Assistant Cheer Coach - Coed Skills Coach - NOW HIRING
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Purdue Athletics is seeking a temporary assistant cheer coach - coed skills coach to work with the Purdue cheer team.
- Part-time position; pay hourly
- Evening/weekend work
- Travel for competition and potential travel for football games and basketball postseason
RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position reports directly to the Head Cheerleading coach and will assist with duties associate to the cheerleading program, including but not limited to:
- Primary focus is instructing the small coed team practices and attending all home football games
- Attend daily nationals practices and showcases the 3 weeks prior to UCA College Nationals
- Assist with all aspects of coaching and team development at practices, games, clinics, and competition
- Recruit prospective student athletes
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- College Coed Skills Knowledge
- Experience teaching, coaching, and/or performing collegiate skills and game day material
- Understand the academic demands of the University to best lead and communicate with student athletes

Schwartz Tennis Center - Customer Service Representative
ABOUT THE TENNIS CENTER
The home of Purdue Men’s and Women’s Tennis. Schwartz Tennis Center is open to the public, Purdue faculty and staff, as well as Purdue students. The tennis center offers private and group lessons, adult and junior clinics, and more. Customer Service Representative (CSR) are vital to the daily operations of the Tennis Center. Most CSR’s will work 10-15 hours per week as determined by their schedule and facility operational hours. Facility hours vary from 7am to midnight.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Opening and closing the facility
- Working closely with the manager on duty
- Greet all patrons incoming the facility & direct them to the proper location for the services provided
- General knowledge of all programs and services
- Additionally, the CSR will promote all lesson and events opportunities at STC
- Receive payments for services through the tennis centers booking system
- Assist with tournament administration
- Annual credit card compliance certifications will be necessary
QUALIFICATIONS

Schwartz Tennis Center - Tennis Stringer
ABOUT THE TENNIS CENTER
The home of Purdue Men’s and Women’s Tennis. Schwartz Tennis Center is open to the public, Purdue faculty and staff, as well as Purdue students. The tennis center offers private and group lessons, adult and junior clinics, and more. The tennis center provides racquet re-stringing for our patrons. We offer a 48 hour turn around with the service. Stringers are called in on a need basis. This position will have flexible hours.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- String all racquets correctly and in a timely manner
- Log completed racquets into the Tennis Center management system
- Answer any questions from staff or patrons regarding tennis racquets and strings
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior knowledge of stringing racquets is preferred but not necessary for this position
- Ability to work will within a group setting
- Time management
- Strong oral and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and other athletic department staff
