THE COURSE
Stanford Golf Course will play a par 71 at 6,291 yards. Opening in 1930, the course was designed by famed architects George C. Thomas and Billy Bell Jr. It underwent a renovation by John Harbottle in 2008. In 2018, all bunkers were rebuilt and several holes were modified. San Francisco, about 30 miles north, can be seen from the elevated 18th tee. Rich in tradition and history, World Golf Hall of Famers Tom Watson, Tiger Woods and Mickey Wright honed their games on the course. Purdue has had success at Stanford, finishing second in the 2013 NCAA Regional to advance to the 14th straight NCAA Championships under head coach Devon Brouse. The Boilermakers went on to finish third at the national championship.

POSTSEASON SUCCESS
Purdue has earned a spot in the postseason for the seventh straight time. The Boilermakers have reached an NCAA Regional for the 24th time out of the last 25 renditions of the NCAA Championships. Purdue advanced to the championship stage 18 of those instances, most recently in 2019. Led by head coach Devon Brouse, the Boilermakers captured the 2010 national championship with the second-lowest four-round team score in NCAA Championships history.

ALL-B1G BOILERMAKERS
For the first time since 2018, two Purdue women golfers earned All-Big Ten accolades. Kan Bunnabodee was named First Team All-B1G, while Inez Wanamarta collected Second Team All-B1G recognition, making the Boilermakers one of four programs to have multiple golfers on the All-B1G teams. While leading Purdue in stroke average (72.90), Bunnabodee became the first Boilermaker to earn First Team All-B1G honors since Wanamarta four years ago. The junior has paced the Boilermakers in four out of the seven tournaments she has appeared in this season, which includes two top-10 performances. Wanamarta became an All-B1G honoree for the third time in her career. The 2018 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, she also was a first team selection before landing on the second team as a sophomore. In her final season as a Boilermaker, Wanamarta has the second-best stroke average for Purdue (73.73) behind Bunnabodee, and she has played in a team-high 10 tournaments.

RAIN, RAIN STAY AWAY
Purdue is set to have a chance to qualify for the NCAA Championships this season, something that did not happy a season ago. After getting sent to the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional, the tournament never got started due to the course not up to championship standards thanks to rain. The result of not playing advanced the top six seeds to the national championship, sending the Boilermakers home. Purdue ended up competing in the Let Them Play Classic presented by Barstool Sports, finishing runner-up in the event.

BROUSE'S BOILERS
Purdue Golf has thrived under head coach Devon Brouse, who is in his 25th year guiding the program. The Boilermakers have made 24 NCAA Regional appearances, while advancing to the NCAA Championships 18 times. With Brouse as head coach, Purdue won the 2010 national championship and were runners-up in 2011. The WGCA Hall of Famer is a six-time Big Ten Coach of the Year, while leading the Boilermakers to six conference crowns.

PURDUE IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Boilermakers enter the tournament ranked No. 48 in both national rankings, courtesy of Golfstat and Golfweek.

LAST TIME ON THE LINKS
Purdue finished eighth at the Big Ten Championship (+26), while No. 18 Michigan (+5) captured the conference title with a four-shot victory over Michigan State (+9). In her final B1G Championship, Inez Wanamarta led the Boilermakers. The graduate senior tied for 16th at 9-over (71-73-75—219), earning the 16th top-20 performance of her career.

PURDUE WORLDWIDE
Boilermakers come from all over the world. For the NCAA Stanford Regional, the Purdue lineup consists of golfers from four different countries: Indonesia (Inez Wanamarta), South Africa (Danielle du Toit), Thailand (Kan Bunnabodee) and the United States (Jocelyn Bruch, Ashley Kozlowski).
