WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The No. 12 seed Purdue women's basketball team will face a quick turnaround to face No. 5 seed Nebraska on Thursday around 2 p.m. at the Target Center. Sloane Martin and Christy Winters-Scott will be on the call for the Big Ten Network with Meghan McKeown on the sidelines.

Tipoff between the Boilermakers and Cornhuskers will start 25 minutes after the 12:30 p.m. ET game between No. 8 Maryland and No. 9 Illinois ends.

Purdue rallied from a 12-point second half deficit to down Northwestern 78-72 on Wednesday night in the first round. Abbey Ellis recorded her first career double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Rashunda Jones dropped 19 points off the bench. Jeanae Terry posted the most rebounds in a tournament game in Purdue history with 16 rebounds to go with eight points and six assists.

• The all-time series with Nebraska is tied at 10-10.
• Purdue owns the record for most Big Ten Tournament titles with nine, the last coming in 2013, and tournament wins with 46.
• The Boilermakers return to the Target Center after reaching the quarterfinals last year. Jayla Smith sank a late 3-pointer to lift Purdue over Wisconsin 57-55.
• For the first time in 20 years, a Boilermaker is a Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Mary Ashley Stevenson was tabbed the top rookie in the conference by the media after finishing the year with 9.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, ranking third and second among the league's freshmen this season. Purdue's last Freshman of the Year was Katie Gearlds in 2003.
• Stevenson was also tabbed to both All-Freshman teams, as well as Big Ten honorable mention by the media.
• Seniors Jeanae Terry earned an All-Big Ten honorable mention nods. Harper was tabbed honorable mention, as well as Purdue's Sportsmanship honoree. Rashunda Jones earned a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman team.
• Abbey Ellis leads Purdue in scoring this year with 14.6 points per game. The Australian has scored in double figures 26 times this year. She is averaging 21.8 points per game since her parents arrived in the country before the Wisconsin game.
• After joining the 1,000-point club and reaching 200 3-pointers in her career, Madison Layden ranks fifth in Purdue history with 206 career 3-pointers. Her 35.4% career mark from distance ranks 14th in program history.
• The Boilermakers' freshman class ended the regular season with the highest point production in the Big Ten with 22.8 points per game and 22.9 points per league contest.
