WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – After a week off, the Purdue women's basketball team is set for a sold-out Mackey Arena when it hosts No. 3 Iowa on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. The Boilermakers will make their debut on Peacock with Zora Stephenson on the play-by-play and Kim Adams as analyst.

LAST TIME OUT
The Boilermakers were slated to play at Maryland on Saturday, but a roof leak at the XFINITY Center postponed the game until Jan. 14 back out in College Park.

Last time on the court, Purdue outlasted a late run by Rutgers to win 77-76 at Mackey Arena. Madison Layden led the way on the offensive end with 19 points, while Rashunda Jones added 10 points off the bench. Purdue totaled 16 points off 15 Rutgers turnovers, while committing just 10 giveaways in the win.

NOTES
• Purdue leads the all-time series with Iowa 40-38. The Hawkeyes have won the last seven matchups. Purdue's last win over Iowa came on Jan. 10, 2019, at Mackey Arena when the Hawkeyes were ranked No. 17.
• Wednesday night is officially a sellout at Mackey Arena. It marks the second straight year with a sellout for the Boilermakers and the fourth in Purdue history. Purdue set a new attendance record against No. 4 Indiana last season with a crowd of 14,876, the first sellout since the 1999-2000 season.
• Madison Layden has been on fire from behind the arc this season with a Big Ten best 49.3% from distance, which ranks eighth nationally. The Kokomo, Ind., native has drained four or more triples in six games this season to tie for eighth in the country among players from major conferences this year.
• Layden leads the Big Ten in 3-point shooting percentage in conference games at 66.7%.
• Mary Ashley Stevenson has recorded eight points and eight assists in four games, which ties her fifth nationally among major conference freshmen and leads the Big Ten.
• Purdue leads the Big Ten in scoring defense at 62 points per league game. The Boilermakers have held nine teams to 60 or fewer points, good for second in the Big Ten
• The Boilermakers are the only team to have two different players win Big Ten Freshman of the Week this season with Mary Ashley Stevenson and Rashunda Jones.
• Jeanae Terry continues to fill up the stat sheet on offense, leading the Big Ten in rebounding (12.3) and assists (7.7) per league game. The fifth-year senior is the only player to rank in the top-10 of the Big Ten in rebounds and assists in all games.
• Terry is one of 15 players nationally and one of three from the Big Ten to average over five points, rebounds and assists per game. (Shyanne Sellers - Maryland, Caitlin Clark - Iowa).
• Purdue moved to 2-1 in Big Ten play with back-to-back wins over Wisconsin and Rutgers. Purdue tallied 83 points per game and committed just 22 giveaways, while the defense surrendered 63 points per game over the last two outings.
• Abbey Ellis sits 14th in the Big Ten this season with 14.6 points per game. In her third season in West Lafayette, Ellis is 103 points away from becoming Purdue's 36th 1,000-point scorer.
• Purdue has knocked off three ranked opponents during the Katie Gearlds era, including the program's first top-5 road win at No. 2 Ohio State last season. Prior to Gearlds' arrival, the Boilermakers had dropped their last 18 ranked matchups.
• Four different Boilermakers have topped 20 points this season, tied for second most in the Big Ten.
• Purdue enters Wednesday night with 499 all-time victories at Mackey Arena.
