WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue baseball is excited to bring back its preseason fan fest, the free all-ages event with skill stations, inflatables and autographs held inside the Mollenkopf Athletic Center in February.

The preseason fan fest is set for Saturday, Feb. 12 from 3 to 5 p.m. That's the Saturday before the Boilermakers' season-opening weekend. This year marks the fourth time the Boilermakers are hosting the event, which debuted in February 2018.

Purdue players will be assisting with skill stations and other indoor activities for children, including inflatable play areas. Players will also be signing autographs and taking photos with attendees. Purdue Pete is also expected to be in attendance.

Skill stations include multiple batting cages, bullpen mounds and opportunities to play catch with the Boilermakers. There are multiple stations geared toward different age groups of children.

Free parking will be available in the "F Lot" located east of Mollenkopf and north of Mackey Arena. Fans & the general public are reminded current Protect Purdue protocols require facial coverings for indoor settings, including the Mollenkopf Athletic Center.

In the fall, Purdue baseball's well-received Halloween Bash at Alexander Field also returned as a free all-ages community event. It featured on-field trick-or-treating following a costume scrimmage. Attendees received a voucher for a free game ticket for the 2022 season.

The Boilermakers are also hosting their annual First Pitch Dinner on Friday, Feb. 11 at Holloway Gymnasium. Tickets are priced at $50.

Season tickets at Alexander Field go on sale Friday, Jan. 14, with single-game seats available Thursday, March 3. A full list of promotions and special events at Alexander will be announced in the coming weeks.

Purdue opens its new season with a four-game series vs. South Dakota State at a Triple-A ballpark in the Houston area. Tickets are now on sale for the opening series at the Sugar Land Skeeters' Constellation Field. Friday, Feb. 18 is the national opening day for college baseball. The Boilermakers' home opener is set Friday, March 11 as part of a 28-game slate at Alexander Field that features seven home weekends.
