T&F Set for Final Prep Ahead of B1Gs

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -
The Boilermakers are sending 21 individuals to the Alex Wilson Invitational at Notre Dame on Saturday. The meet will be the final preparation before next week's Big Ten Championships.

The headliners for the Boilermakers will be the men's 4x400-meter relay team, women's weight thrower Sarah Loesch and Kiara McIntosh in the 800m run. The men's 4x400m relay team of Kyle Webb, Malcolm Dotson, Kinard Rolle and Shanwdail McLaren currently sits 18th in the country and fourth in the conference. Loesch is third in the conference in the weight throw and 17th nationally, while McIntosh is fifth in the Big Ten. All will look to improve their potential NCAA Championships résumés.

Rebecca Coan will get a chance to tune-up in the 60m hurdles, shot put and high jump a week before she competes in the pentathlon at Big Tens. Gabrielle Broschard, Jenna Halderman, Jeremy Craven, Matt Grider, Jacob Hanawalt, Ethan Hoeft, Ben Mohrdeick, Levi Taylor and Greg Tippmann will compete in the distances Saturday at Notre Dame. Christopher Bluish, Jahneya Mitchell and Obokhare Ikpefan will get one last chance in the middle distances ahead of next week, while Jaden Mattox and Katrina May will compete in the long jump and pole vault, respectively.

Saturday's action is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. ET with the women's weight throw and 60m hurdles. The meet will wrap up at 3:15 p.m. after the men's 4x400m relay.
