The Bruins lead the all-time series 3-1, with the last meeting coming in 2015 where they defeated the Boilermakers 9-3. In 2009, the Boilers defeated UCLA when it was ranked the fourth team in the country, marking the highest-ranked win for Purdue in its history. The victory was only matched by a victory over Michigan when it was also ranked No. 4. The teams look for their first Big Ten victory of the season, and the inaugural victory over one another in Big Ten play.
