Purdue capped its third straight 4-0 week Sunday with Cam Thompson's 11th-inning walk-off home run. The Boilermakers are one of five unbeaten teams remaining at the NCAA Division I level entering the week, joining Clemson, Virginia, Wake Forest and Tennessee Tech. Of those five, Purdue is the only one yet to play a true home game.
The Boilermakers have won 13 straight games dating back to the 2021 season finale. Only Wake Forest (14) has a longer active streak nationally. Purdue's longest multi-season win streak is 16 from May 1908 and through May 1909. The 1909 Big Ten championship team's 10-0 start had stood as the best start in program history for more than 100 years.
Purdue's 2001, 2012 and 2018 teams also played their way into the national rankings en route to finishing with at least 32 victories.
