Goff Announces Baseball's Open Tryouts Info

Head coach Greg Goff has announced information related to Purdue baseball's open tryouts process for the 2021-22 school year.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Head coach Greg Goff has announced information related to Purdue baseball's open tryouts process for the 2021-22 school year.

Purdue students interested in participating in open tryouts first need to email the program's operations specialist Ross Learnard at rlearnar@purdue.edu for sign up and documentation requirements.

The actual on-field tryouts will be held at Alexander Field on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 6 p.m. Students will need to arrange their own transportation to Alexander Field for the Sept. 8 tryout.

Students should email their documents to Learnard on or before Sept. 1 to receive instructions for registration. Required tasks need to be completed by Sept. 6 to ensure enough time for internal processes to be completed. Failure to submit all required documentation before Sept. 6 will result in the student not being allowed to tryout.

Failure to submit all required documentation before Sept. 8 will result in the student not being allowed to tryout.

Students need to be enrolled in a minimum 12 credit hours at Purdue's West Lafayette campus for the fall semester. Other requirements include...
• Personal/medical questionnaire completion;
Proof of a medical physical by a physician within the last 12 months;
Proof of sickle cell blood test results;
Being registered through the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Center at EligibilityCenter.org
