WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – For the first time in 698 days, the Purdue softball team will play at Bittinger Stadium. The Boilermakers return to West Lafayette for a four-game set this weekend against Iowa.
The games will be streamed through Big Ten Network+ with an audio call on Purdue Stretch Internet.

The Boilermakers return to action after a two-week layoff. Purdue picked up a pair of wins against Maryland and Nebraska during its second weekend stint in Leesburg, Fla.
Through 12 games, Rachel Becker has been on a tear at the plate with a .500 batting average and a .568 on-base clip, leading the Big Ten in both categories. The junior also leads the team with 11 runs scored and six walks. Her .711 slugging percentage, including six extra-base hits out of 19 base knocks, is second in the league.
For the first time all year, limited fan attendance will be permitted at a Purdue sporting event. Approximately 200 tickets were distributed to the general public. As of Thursday afternoon, at 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday are "sold out" and Friday's contest has a few remaining tickets. All fans will be required to adhere to the Protect Purdue standards, wear masks and maintain social distancing measures when at the ballpark. • Iowa leads the all-time series 45-18, but Purdue has won five of the last six meetings.

• Ashley Peters' strikeout-to-walk ratio of 6.0 is sixth in the Big Ten. She is also second in the league with a .69 walks per nine innings mark.
