NOTES
• Purdue trails the all-time series with Ohio State 47-31, and a 24-9 deficit when playing in Columbus.
• Purdue will go for its first ranked win since Jan. 20, 2019, against Indiana.
• The Boilermakers snapped an 11-game losing skid in Columbus last year with a 66-50 win on Dec. 28. With a win, Purdue will notch its first two-game streak on the road against Ohio State since 1999.
• While injuries and protocols have kept Purdue from using a full complement of players all season, the Boilermakers will have one piece back against Ohio State, as Cassidy Hardin makes her return from COVID-19 protocols after missing the last three games.
• Madison Layden continued her two active streaks against Rutgers. The freshman has recorded a steal in every game this season and a 3-pointer in each of the last 15 outings. Layden is the only freshman from the Big Ten with at least 50 assists and 35 steals on the year.
• Kayana Traylor is up to 61 assists on the year, after recording her seventh game with at least five helpers against Michigan.
• The Boilermakers are averaging four more points per game and one more 3-pointer on the road compared to home games.
• Junior Rokia Doumbia has made the most of her increasing minutes, totaling 6.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game when playing more than 15 minutes. The transfer from Arkansas is shooting 54.5% from the field and 5.3 points per game over her last three outings.
• Purdue has drained at least nine 3-pointers on six occasions this season, tied for third in the Big Ten behind Iowa (8) and Minnesota (7).
• Fatou Diagne hit double digits in five of the last seven games. She has scored at least 10 points in seven games this season and 11 in her career.
