WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue Athletics on Friday (July 24) released COVID-19 test results as of Thursday, July 23.
A total of 415 individual COVID-19 tests have been administered to student-athletes, coaches and staff during the phased return to campus that began Monday, June 8. Within this group, 27 individuals have tested positive over the course of the past six weeks.

- Tests administered (since June 8): 415 to student-athletes, coaches and Intercollegiate Athletics staff
- Positive tests: 27 people tested positive and were isolated per medical protocols; 22 have completed isolation
- Active cases: 5
- No hospitalizations have been required; those testing positive were generally asymptomatic or had minor symptoms that resolved within a few days.
- Contact tracing has taken place, with those impacted quarantining and/or self-monitoring per current public health guidelines.
- Purdue Athletics continues daily medical check-ins and monitoring of those in isolation and quarantine.
