Big Ten Unveils 2020-21 Conference Slate

The Big Ten Conference unveiled its 2020-21 league schedule for women's basketball Monday afternoon, completing Purdue's full regular season slate. The Boilermakers will play 20 conference games, including 10 at Mackey Arena.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Big Ten Conference unveiled its 2020-21 league schedule for women's basketball Monday afternoon, completing Purdue's 25-game slate. The Boilermakers will play 20 conference games, including 10 at Mackey Arena.

Purdue will open up conference play at home against the defending regular-season co-champion Northwestern on Dec. 17.

The Boilermakers will head into the holiday break following a pair of contests at Penn State on Dec. 20 and home against Nebraska on Dec. 23.

The new year starts for Purdue on Jan. 3 against Michigan State at home, before back-to-back road games at Rutgers and Maryland on Jan. 7 and 10, respectively.

The Boilermakers will renew their longstanding rivalry Jan. 14 at Mackey Arena.

Purdue will then hit the road for three of its next four games, at Iowa (Jan. 18), at Michigan (Jan. 24) and at Minnesota (Jan. 28). The lone home tip in that span will be Jan. 21 against Wisconsin.

After splitting a home against Penn State (Jan. 31) and a road trip to Illinois (Feb. 7), the Boilermakers will host a pair of tilts at Mackey Arena against Michigan (Feb. 11) and Rutgers (Feb. 14).

Following a road swing to Ohio State (Feb. 18) and Michigan State (Feb. 21), Purdue will wrap up play at Mackey Arena against Maryland on Feb. 25 and Illinois on Feb. 28.

The regular season concludes either March 5 or 6 in Bloomington against the Hoosiers for the Barn Burner Trophy.  

Start times and television/stream assignments will be announced at a later date.

The Boilermakers will open the 2020-21 campaign with five home non-conference games, starting Nov. 29 against North Alabama at 6 p.m.
