House Assumes JPC Leadership Role

Tim House has assumed the leadership role of the John Purdue Club on a permanent basis.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue vice president and director of intercollegiate athletics Mike Bobinski, in partnership with vice president for development Amy Noah, announced that Tim House has assumed the leadership role of the John Purdue Club on a permanent basis.

House was hired in August of 2018 and promoted to interim senior associate athletics director/assistant vice president of development in April of 2019. Since his arrival, House and the JPC staff have established the Boilermaker Athletics Representative (B.A.R.) program and the Boiler UPgrade initiative that was instrumental in the growth of the annual fund from $6.75 million in 2018 to $8.1 million in 2019. Moving forward, House will drive the long-term goals of the John Purdue Club, which include funding the entire Purdue Athletics scholarship bill of more than $12 million and supporting over 10,000 members. House also will lead major gift acquisition for facility and capital projects.

"When we made our initial decision to move to Purdue, my family knew we were heading to a special place," House said. "Our expectations have been exceeded. Purdue Athletics promotes a combination of character, competitive success and academic excellence that is uncommon at the highest levels of college athletics. I am honored to continue to serve the John Purdue Club membership, our student-athletes and coaches, and all members of the Boilermaker family. I would like to thank Mike Bobinski, Amy Noah and Jason Butikofer for the opportunity to work with and lead an extremely talented group of people on the John Purdue Club staff."

House came to the Boilermakers from Army West Point Athletics, where he spent five of the past seven years (2012-14 and 2015-18). During that time, he was a part of the Army A Club staff and ultimately oversaw a unit that grew from $2.7 million in unrestricted annual fund dollars upon his arrival to over $7.4 million. In his most recent role as associate athletics director for development, House managed a portfolio of donors and prospects with both a high-level annual fund and major gift focus, while also overseeing the Army A Club staff.

In between stints at Army West Point, House served as major gifts officer for the University of Pennsylvania Department of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics. Among his accomplishments were securing an endowment for the wrestling head coaching position.

House's other experience includes stints in athletics development, marketing and sales with Duke University, Belmont University and Vanderbilt University.

A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, House earned a bachelor's degree in sport management from North Carolina State University in 2008 and a master's degree in sport administration from Belmont in 2010. Tim is married to Jen, who is employed with the Purdue Research Foundation. They have two daughters, Emerson and Leah.
